Latisse Restores the Look of Your Eyelashes

February 8, 2018, 7:13 pm

Eyelashes play a major role in enhancing the beauty of the eyes. Thick, long, dark eyelashes make one’s eyes appear bigger and improve their overall appearance. For years, women have depended upon makeup products to enhance the beauty of their lashes. Often, women use mascara to give their eyelashes a darker appearance. These measures, however, are only temporary solutions. For a longer-lasting solution, we offer a product called Latisse.

Latisse has been on the market since 2008 and is actually a form of a drug that is used to treat glaucoma. It was only later that doctors began to notice the changes in the eyelashes. Patients who were using the drug grew thicker lashes and regrew missing lashes. It did not take much time from there for Latisse to become popular in the cosmetic world.

Latisse

Latisse is an FDA-approved topical drug that is applied to eyelashes. It enhances eyelash growth and improves the length, color, strength, and overall quality of your lashes. It can also help in replacing lashes that have fallen out, leaving bare patches and gaps.

Latisse is applied every night before going to bed. If you are using contact lenses, make sure that you remove them before applying Latisse. Also, make sure that your hands and face are clean and wash them with soap before the application procedure.

Latisse comes with applicators. You will need to apply a single drop of the medication on the upper eyelashes of one eyelid using an applicator, then use another applicator for your other eyelid. There is no need to apply it to the lower lash line, as the medication spreads to the lower lashes as soon as you blink and your upper eyelid and lower lash line come into contact.

Doctors recommend extreme caution while using Latisse, as it can accelerate hair growth in other areas it comes into contact with. Also, the applicators must be discarded after every use in order to avoid an eye infection.

Most patients notice results by the end of two months if they have been using the medication consistently every night. People who use it have reported results that they are quite happy about. The results may vary from person to person depending upon their body type and reaction to the medication.

An important thing to note is that your eyelashes will show growth only during that period of time for which you will be using Latisse. If you stop using the medication, your eyelashes will eventually return to their normal state.
